Week 2: January 18, 2022
This week our classes were still online which I find tough to really focus during lectures but we did learn about some interesting things. We discussed our digital footprints and how it can effect us later in life, digital literacy, and intellectual property. I’ve always been aware that everything we post online will be there forever, whether deleted or not but this class has made me hyperaware of what I share about myself online as we get closer to entering the professional world of teaching. Technology has become so prevalent in our everyday lives and work places which can be exciting, yet scary. I found learning more in depth about copyright laws and licences beneficial and a good refresh from what I have already learned about them. I’m excited to learn how to properly use technology to its fullest potential once in the classroom to better support my students and the changing tech world around them.
